When you hear that song...
I do not have much listening time in 1981 but so far the shows I have chosen have been very fine indeed.
This is Second Set only and it is some good listening,
I know they opened Set Two many times with SAMSON but I really do love that tune. The ROSES works perfectly after SAMSON. I was particularly impressed with how stretched out they got on Franklin's Tower after ESTIMATED. I am assuming this is the same Stanley they played and decimated in the early days. After Drumz is pretty standard set list but extremely well played!
I noticed Brent's handi-work in some good places.
Other One intro very methodical yet divergent rhythm to get us to the verses. Jerry sounds great to these ears. As previously mentioned the Stella Blue is wonderful. SUGAR MAGNOLIA-Hey Blooming Like a RED ROSE!!! Come on over here!

they did it again!
I really like this show, thanks to the O1>Stella Blue. This soundboard sounds just fine, not the crispiest one you have ever heard, but very clean. Phil's bomblets in the Roses sound great. The Estimated>Franklin's is cool but pretty standard. They pound the big drums pretty hard for a few minutes. Cool space with drums into a phat Other One. Jerry and Phil make it a classic in my book. Then a long, lilting intro into a great Stella Blue, go Jerry go! A couple of little flubs...
